From Dream Dress to Cozy Winter Wedding: Lees Qassas's Wedding Journey

Every bride dreams of their perfect wedding day, from the dress to the venue to the music. For this Lees Qassas, her wedding was a culmination of everything she loved and wished to see at her wedding. In this blog post, we will take you through her wedding journey, from her dress to the venue to her favorite moments.

Tell us about your wedding look:

Dress: First dress was customized in turkey. Second dress was by Reema Dahbour. Hair: Amal abdullah

Make up: Amal abdullah

Who was your: Planner: music box/oun beisani Dj: oun beisani Photographer: Essam Haddad

Tell us about the inspiration behind your dress, was it easy or hard to find your dream dress?

Ive never been a fan of all-shiny bridal dresses, I like a touch of shine on a plain dress. And that was exactly how I customized mine. I travelled to turkey in search of my dream dress as everyone told me I’d find many options there. I was disappointed and didnt like any and I had very limited time, therefore I went to a recommended tailor in turkey called Simin valipour, she did a good job for a wedding dress done in less than 10 days.

The end result was very beautiful however not how I precisely imagined or wanted it to be. Therefore, this was the only regretful decision concerning my wedding.

As for the second entrance my husband wanted to add a traditional vibe/touch to the wedding so that was when i couldnt think of anyone better than Reema Dahbour for the perfect second tatreez dress. We met once and brainstormed everything else on whatsapp (since we were in different countries) till we reached the final design which was exactly the look I was dreaming of. I fell for it and was so so excited to wear it (even more than the first dress)!! It was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding.

Where did you have your wedding and what was the theme?

We had our wedding at the ritz-carlton and I didnt have a specific theme to call. I just added everything I like and prefer for a cozy winter indoor wedding. The all black , line art, chair prints, pampas grass, and the Ritz Cartlon’s spacious venue was so dreamy. I wouldnt have wanted things any other way, hamdellah

What was the hardest part of planning the wedding?

The hardest part for me was deciding on one wedding theme/mood since im so indecisive and moody, one day I would go crazy about a certain idea or a theme, and the other day u would find me calling the planner to tell him I changed my mind COMPLETELY. I basically changed my mind 4 times minimum after confirming on each idea( same went with the florist😂). Therefore, I ended up not calling a certain theme, I just added touches of everything I love and wish to see at my wedding.

What was the best song to dance to?

One of my favorite songs was “If I Lose Myself- One republic”. It was played during the cake show and I literally lost myself in love in that moment.

What was your favorite moment of the wedding?

My favorite moment was the moment Omar and I first saw each other. When after 7 years of love and long distance, we laid eyes on each other as husband and wife knowing that from this exact moment, we will forever be physically next to each other. Our smiles in the pictures below explained it all.

The wedding day is one of the most memorable days of a person's life. It's a day that brings together all the people you love to celebrate your love. For this bride, her wedding was a reflection of her and her husband's love and a celebration of everything they love. It was a day filled with beautiful memories and cherished moments that will be remembered for a lifetime.
