Happily Ever After, Full Details From Sarah Issas Wedding

From lady in red on her engagement, to a gorgeous bride in white.

Todays bride's story is one we followed from the starting stages and today we get to see it through to their wedding, Sarah Issa tells us the full story of how she planned her wedding, found and changed her look, and the joys and hardships of getting married during those times, and here is what she had to say:

Tell us about your look, Where did you get your dress, and how did you choose it?

I actually initially bought a wedding dress from Morilee but I also stopped by at Demetrios because I’ve always loved their classic European wedding dress designs and I instantly fell in love with one of their dresses. So, I decided to rent that one out for the wedding and keep the Morilee one as a memory (and in case we decide to throw a party once our siblings visit in the summer from abroad).

Who did your choose for your hair, make up, and Head piece?

I did my hair and makeup at Blounge by Bob. Hair by Ismail and makeup by Bob, I also got the veil and headpiece from Demetrios.

Who was your photographer and how did you find them?

Our photographer was Yazan Hmoud, he was recommended by one of my husband’s friends and he was very nice to deal with.

What's it like getting married in 2020 tell us about your experience?

Due to the circumstances, we didn’t throw a wedding party. We just booked a private dinner at the Intercontinental for 20 of our closest family members.

My girlfriends arrived earlier to help me get ready in the hotel suite and the photographer was there for the photoshoot. We thought he’d be able to take pictures at the restaurant for when our family members arrived, but he wasn’t allowed to go in which was a bummer but nevertheless we remained positive and didn’t let anything or anyone ruin our day.

To be honest, I’ve always dreamt of a huge wedding party and never imagined my wedding day to be during a pandemic, but I have to admit it’s been such a relief. I didn’t have to go through the stress of worrying about a huge party.

At the end of the day, I realized none of it matters (to me at least). It didn’t matter where my dress was from, where I did my hair and makeup, where the venue was, none of it is as important as knowing I’ll be spending the rest of my life with my twin flame and best friend.

Would I change anything about my wedding day? Well of course I would’ve wanted my sisters and sisters-in-law there with us, along with my friends who live abroad, but they were definitely happy for us regardless.

Oh also, my bouquet was from Farazdaq flowers in Swefieh (I absolutely loved it!!)

I originally wanted peonies for my bouquet but they weren’t available (we were late at ordering a bouquet). But I think tulips and baby breath are just as beautiful.

Thank you to the lovely couple for sharing their big day with us, wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness.
