Inside Shorouq Tawabini’s Elegant Wedding

Today’s bride tells us all about the intricate details of her wedding - from the gorgeous dress to the magnificent theme of the party. Read on as Shorouq Tawabini recounts her special day.

Here is what she had to say to www.everythingweddings.co:

Tell us about your wedding look:

Dress and headpiece: My dress was beautifully designed by the talented Nour Almuhtaseb, along with the matching headpiece that I wore on my second look.

Hair: I wanted to show the beauty of the veil, so I decided to have my hair in a neat and simple pulled-back bun done by the awesome hairdresser Hussam from Amal Alabdullah’s Salon.

Make up: The makeup was also done by Amal Alabdullah herself and she flawlessly showcased the definition of elegant and simple yet glowy beauty which was the look I was aiming for.

Tell us about the inspiration behind your dress. Was it easy or hard to find your dream dress?

I normally tend to have a different taste in dresses so I was confident I was not going to find what I’m looking for in a ready-made dress shop. So I didn’t hesitate to go to Nour as my first option to design what I want. I gave her a general idea of how I want my dress to be like but I left the rest to her.

I knew I didn’t want a typical white dress so I went with the ivory color to show off the white beading from the fabric Nour chose. And knowing me, I always like to have a different touch to the sleeves which was and still is trendy nowadays yet I still wanted to do something different. The puffy messy sleeves were an idea that came to life with the help of the amazing tailors that work at Nour Almuhtaseb. The dress came out exactly how I was hoping for if not more.

Where did you have your wedding and what was the theme?

My husband and I are fans of the greenery outdoors on summery days, And our wedding planner Eyad Jammal made it very easy to go with the Exit Club as it had the theme we were aiming for and catered for our number of guests perfectly. The theme was a starry blue night with silver stars hung from the ceiling, blue and purple flowers and touch of black showcased in the candles, napkins and guest chairs to highlight the theme in an elegant, simple, and classy manner✨

What was your favorite moment of the wedding?

The entire wedding was my favorite day but my absolute favorite moment was during the second look when the drummers walked us to the DJ and everyone gathered up and danced together. It was a fun moment for sure.

What was the hardest part of planning the wedding?

Luckily It all went by smoothly but I’d probably say the hardest part was definitely sticking to the timeline as we didn’t want our guests to wait for too long and get to enjoy the wedding from beginning to end.

What was the best song to dance to?

The song we went for was the first song we ever heard together when my husband and I met which was “I guess I’m in love” by Clinton Kane. We thought there’s no better way to celebrate our love than by dancing to the love song we shared since day one💫

Thank you to the lovely couple for sharing moments of their big day with us. We wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!
