Today’s bride lets us live vicariously through her as she embodies a princess on her wedding day. Lara Bitar’s Cinderella themed wedding is a dream come true for fans of the classic fairytale. Read on as Lara tells us about how she was able to make her amazing idea manifest into a beautiful wedding.

Tell us about the inspiration behind your dress. Was it easy or hard to find your dream dress?
It wasn’t easy at all, I started my wedding dress hunt wanting something minimalistic, which is how I usually dress. I also always believed a wedding dress should be strictly white. I tried on many satin dresses that I adored. However, just before my last two week fitting, an ivory beaded dress with pearls and stones caught my eye. I felt myself, I put it on, and didn’t want to take it off. I felt like a princess wearing it, the veil was long, mesmerising and full of details. The color perfectly suited my fair skin color and blonde hair.
Where did you have your wedding and what was the theme?
It was at the Grand Hyatt Amman hotel, a personal family favourite. The theme was “Cinderella”. Me and my wedding planner created the theme of a Cinderella castle, emphasising classy elegant vibes with white imported.
What was your favorite moment of the wedding?
Favourite moments were the first and second entrances. Our DJ Raja made them both special by choosing the best entrance songs, and the happy crowd of family and friends made them both memorable.
What was the hardest part of planning the wedding?
Hardest part was choosing the right backdrop and theme. Especially with my work as a doctor, I barely had time or energy to think of designs and choose one that suits our vibe. However, it took us one song to listen to “Cinderella Story theme song” to decide that this should be our theme, and first entrance song!

What was the best song to dance to?
There was no best song to be honest. Choosing the right DJ always makes dancing a joy to all of the songs 💃🏼
