Bringing some bridal inspiration during Friday lockdown, todays lovely bride has curated her dream wedding look, and it has defiantly come out very dreamy.
Taking a closer look at Juanna Shwaihat's Starry Galaxy themed wedding, how she found the inspiration for her look, and balanced between the different elements of it, and of course how she ended up planning her wedding!
Here is what Juanna had to say about her big day:
How did you choose your dress, and did you have an idea of what you wanted to did you want to get inspired?
So I actually had an idea for the dress in mind which was an over skirt with a big tail then a fitted one underneath with a long tail as well ! I wanted a dress with specific geometrical patterns that flatters the body with an open back and a square nick so I went to Tatyana aceeva who is a brilliant designer and she made it happen!
I found inspiration in different dresses and different designers, but one Australian designer really made a lasting impression on me, I loved the different lines and geometrical patterns, and I knew I had to have them in my wedding dress.
How did you choose your head piece and hair and make up?
I ordered my headpiece and heels from Lebanon by Bbloomed and Andrea Wazen . They are very well known and I love their work, and I found my dream shoes and of course my headpiece that I felt was the perfect statement piece to finish the look off.
I knew I had to balance the look out with simple and elegant hair and makeup look because my veil was beaded and the dress is fully embellished, so creating a balance between the different elements was very important to me when choosing my hair and make up.
What is like planning a wedding in these conditions, what was your original plan and how did it change?
The wedding was suppose to be for 350 people in May last year at an outdoor setting with gold and white theme, then because of the pandemic situation we changed it to winter on January 20th to an indoor intimate ceremony with close friends and family.
What was your favorite moment of the wedding?
Favorite moment I would say our slow dance he’s my favorite dance partner and dancing to our song at the reception was the highlight of it !
