Tell us about your engagement party look:
Dress: My engagement party dress was a custom-made creation by the talented designer @hamdaalfahim. The dress was originally from her collection "Disco Daydream," but we customized it by changing the colors of the fabric and Swarovski crystals and added a cape for a dramatic effect.
Hair and Makeup: I did my hair and makeup at @bassem.beautylounge, and I went for a natural, elegant look to complement my dress.
Headpiece: I ordered three headpieces from Jennifer Behr, which added a touch of sophistication to my look.
Who was your Planner, DJ, and Photographer: The planner was @ievents_management, the DJ was @dj.moe.abdalla, and the photographer was @anasraed.
Tell us about the inspiration behind your engagement party, was it easy or hard to plan?
The inspiration for my engagement party was the theme of "Disco Jungle." We wanted to create a fun and energetic atmosphere that would match our personalities and our love for dancing. It was not hard to plan, thanks to the help of our planner @ievents_management, who made the planning process fun and stress-free.
Where did you have your engagement party, and what was the theme?
We held our engagement party at Fairmont Amman, and the theme was "Disco Jungle." We wanted the theme to be fun and energetic since it was a celebration of our love.
What was your favorite moment of the engagement party?
My favorite moment was when the countdown started for the new year, and the confetti blasted at 12 am. It was such a magical and unforgettable moment.
What was the hardest part of planning the engagement party?
Nothing was hard or stressful about planning it since my fiancé and mom were heavily involved with the details and decision-making. Additionally, all the meetings with the planners were friendly and fun. @ievents_management made us feel like family and made it comfortable enough for us to be as picky as we want. Our meetings with them were always enjoyable.
What was the best song to dance to?
All the music was great to dance to, but my favorite was "Eh El Youm El Helw Dah." It's a classic Egyptian song that never fails to get everyone on the dance floor.
