Today’s bride shows us that even the wedding preparations can be loads of fun! Dana Alboni tells us all about how her wedding came to be and her favorite moments during the party.

Tell us about your wedding look:
Dress: Dress is from @weddingshopjo
Hair: First look of hair was by Firas from Tareq Msharbash and the second look was Emad Momani from Haus of Rashid.
Make up: Makeup was done by Hammoudeh at Tareq Msharbash as well.
Headpiece: Both first and second look headpieces were from Reem Aljanabi
Tell us about the inspiration behind your dress. Was it easy or hard to find your dream dress?
I had something in mind already for my wedding dress. So when I went to The Wedding Shop Jo, I picked up the dresses that I felt matched what I had in mind. And luckily I found my dress within an hour haha. I fell in love with it when I put it on so it did only literally take me an hour to find a wedding dress.
Where did you have your wedding and what was the theme?
Wedding was at a country club and the wedding planner was Sulaf Ayesh from Shahin and Shahin. I wanted to go for blush and different shades of pink for our wedding and it turned out amazing.
What was your favorite moment of the wedding?
My fave thing about the wedding was that my husband and I were just genuinely enjoying it and our moments and dancing together. We would bubble up sometimes which was cute. And us being so happy made everyone around us so happy as well. It was all just love and positive vibes.
What was the hardest part of planning the wedding?
Planning the wedding was very easy. We’ve worked with Sulaf many times before so I trusted her with everything and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to be. We didn’t need to micromanage anything. And the country club management were lovely. They took good care of us so everything went smoothly.
What was the best song to dance to?
Best song we danced to in my opinion was Island in the Sun by Weezer. I’ve loved this song since I was a child and I’ve always wanted to dance to it on my wedding day. So the DJ, Abdullah Muhairat, played it mid wedding and we just bubbled up and danced to it and it was lovely.
