When the world, rules and regulations are always changing because of the pandemic situation, brides have become extra creative to create their dream wedding, while staying within the rules and keeping everyone safe.
Bride Tala had to create different sections, change her dress three times, and even come up with creative ways to bring friends and family into the event while they were abroad.
Here is what she said to Everything Weddings:
Tell us about your wedding look!
How did you choose your wedding dress?
I tried many wedding dresses all over Amman and the one I chose was with Nour Muhtaseb. Nour is very easy going as I changed my wedding dress 3 times before I chose the perfect one. We decided to do our wedding on January, 2nd 2021 and within 2 weeks the dress was done.
My headpiece was from Nour Muhtaseb as well. using vains from the same fabric like my dress which made everything go together quite nicely.
My makeup was with Jakob Lambaz and hair was with Khader. I got stressed as I had to be done by 1:00 pm and they started doing my hair at 12:50 pm which made me very nervous and I just wanted to finish but everything was perfect.
What was the hardest part of planning your wedding?
The hardest thing was to find a place in these situations. With the help of artfully events we’ve done it in a house in the Salt.
Getting married during COVID-19 was funny as I divided the wedding into 2 parts. The 1st part was from 2:00-3:30 pm and I invited everyone I wish they would’ve be at the party if it wasn’t COVID-19 to my house. Which we danced, took pictures and had some fun.
The 2nd part was from 6:00-10:30 pm at the salt. I never thought that My wedding will be only with 80 ppl and it will be nice. I always dreamt of a big wedding but at the end I managed to do all what I dreamt of at this day.
The most thing that broke my heart was that all my abroad friends, family & my best friend that were willing to join us on this celebration couldn’t make it because of COVID-19 but Utuopia gave us the perfect solution with a live link which everyone was watching us.
What advice do you have for future brides?
My advise for other brides is if you’re postponing to have a big wedding then don’t. A small wedding made of close family and friends is nice and it’s so much fun. The most important thing is to have your family & your beloved ones around you.
Thank you to the lovely couple for sharing details of their big day with us, wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness
