How did you choose your dress, was it hard or easy to find your dream dress?
I wanted a dress that would truly reflect my personality. I first considered getting the dress customized to my taste so in the first few weeks I went around a few local stores with great tailors.
One night while doing my usual Instagram round, I thought to take a look at Zuhair Murad’s page. He is one of my favorite designers and he’s well known for his elegant and unique dresses. This is where I found my dream dress. As soon as I saw it I knew it was the one I wanted. I decided to sleep on it but woke up loving it more. It was meant to be 😊
What was the best part of planning a wedding and what was the hardest?
Honestly, planning it was the hardest and most exciting time I had in my life.
Of course planning your dream wedding comes with it’s stresses but it was also extremely rewarding. I needed a wedding planner with the creativity and imagination to create an unforgettable wedding theme and I knew Majida Bisharat was the one.
With her help, we decided on an all shades of blue Alfresco wedding that suited perfectly with the outdoor venue. It was truly a one-of-a-kind event and I couldn’t be happier.
What was your favourite song to dance to at the wedding?
Andrea Bocelli’s La Vie En Rose. It was our entrance song.
Going down the stairs and seeing all my loved ones in this beautiful venue with the song in the background and dancing the first dance with my husband…it’s what dreams are made off.
